After years of waiting, I obtained my dream domain.
On the 11th of January 2023, something truly magnificent happened. And before you ask, no, it's not the fact that after a month of waiting, my bin full of plastic and paper was taken care of. Somewhat surprisingly, it's also not the crispy Chinese chicken I had for lunch. Or the new leaves brought to life by the bonsai tree.
No, it's something more significant. After an email, I wrote three years ago (keep in mind that I had that email in my mind for another few years) and a bunch of waiting, I'm happy to announce my mission of acquiring byla.lt domain is now complete. Who could have thought it would take so long or cost so much? But then again, who could have thought I would be born with such an excellent and short surname that has many different meanings in my native tongue? Okay, Edvinas, no need to be Seneca. Being happy will suffice for now.
Finally, I don't know if it's a good or bad thing yet, but this event marks another tremendous milestone: the final remaining excuse for not writing blog posts is destroyed.
